32-year old Japanese pitcher Kenshin Kawakami apparently wants to pitch for the Red Sox, despite being scouted by the Yankees and Mets, according to Rotoworld. Read a take on the free agent-to-be at MLB Trade Rumors.
It seems that the Red Sox have built up a lot of good will overseas, and that may benefit them in recruiting talent. The question is, with an already brimming starting rotation, will they want a 33-year old who throws in the mid- to high-80s?
