NASCAR-gate

I was in a hurry to finish my post the other day (a family member is hospitalized right now), but this was bad form, FOX. Bad network. Bad.

In a tight Red Sox-Yankees game, with one strike left, they decided to cut to the start of the race. One strike. They went not to the end of the race, the start. Isn’t the start of these things always the same anyway? The flag waves, and they go, right? Oh, I missed that action-packed first lap, now the second lap is ruined! And are there really that many people in New England who want to see NASCAR over the end of a Red Sox game? You stuck with the Sox for most of the two hour, 11 minute rain delay, what’s another minute?

Maybe the worst part is that NASCAR fans felt gypped by the whole affair too.
